Clay animal sculpture workshop 2023

Make your own ceramic animal sculpture!

Venue: Manchester Craft & Design Centre, 17 Oak Street, Manchester. Downstairs in Space2.

Times: 10.30am-1pm Or 2.30pm- 5pm.

Cost: £48 per person.

Join award winning ceramicist Katherine Lees to sculpt your own clay animal and hand decorate it in colours of your choice!

In this fun workshop I will guide you to design and hand build your own creature, then you will decorate it using colours in a variety of techniques. By the end of the workshop you will have created your own unique small clay animal sculpture.

Each person will receive their clay animal fired ready to take home (work will need to be collected from Studio 5 at the craft centre 4-6 weeks after the workshop, once glazed and fired.) All materials and firings are included in the price.

This workshop is suitable for beginners, adults and children 12+ as a fun introduction to working with clay or a enjoyable mindful activity. Feel free to come alone or with a friend/s. Small groups of 8, which means I have plenty of time to spend with each person.

Due to the small numbers involved in each group, and being a small business, I will not be able to offer refunds or reschedule tickets, if you are unable to attend at short notice (in the period two weeks before the workshop.) This also applies if you have tested positive for covid and have to self isolate. If I am notified in advance I will make every effort to advertise your space, and only if I'm able to arrange someone to take the space, will I be able to move you onto another workshop.
